Writing a Response Paper

Writing a Response PaperWhen you are writing a response paper, there are many things that you need to think about. To be honest, you really don't have much time and if you're like me, it's difficult to sit down and write a lengthy response paper. I try to keep it under three or four pages in length because this is what I want my readers to come away with. If you can get into your head and get a hold of the writing mindset then you will be able to get it down much faster.First you should make a good start to write the title of your paper. What do you want people to remember you by? What kind of person is this individual? What do they expect from you? By starting off with a simple title, it gives you a chance to actually think about your paper and what the best way to approach your title is.The next most important thing is the body of your paper. Your body needs to present a complete and logical argument. If you can get right to the point of why you are writing the paper and why you fe el they should read it, it will give you a big advantage over others. Get it right and you'll stand out from the crowd. You need to focus on a topic that you want to discuss. Many people write response papers that are about the weather. You may not care about the weather but you may be well aware of what your topic is. This will help to give you the added incentive to write the best you can. People who choose the wrong topics tend to read more poorly written papers.Always remember to answer their question and never forget that your main purpose is to write a response paper. If you have no time to get your thoughts together, simply hit F7 and bring up your blank document. Make sure you know exactly what you want to say and how you want them to read it. Once you start to think about the papers you've written and the feedback you've received from others, you'll find it becomes easier.Don't feel pressured to write a very polished and well thought out paper if you don't have a good chance of being read by everyone. This doesn't mean you have to write something that is perfect, just give it a chance. It may take a bit of work to get it right, but I promise you that you will reap the rewards once it is done. When you write a response paper, you are often encouraged to speak from your heart, to answer questions without trying to please people or to make people think about their own opinions, you must speak from your people's opinion. Keep your opinions positive and don't always respond to a question that involves disagreeing with someone. Your goal is to present an opinion that will be accepted and to entertain while avoiding heated words.I hope that by now you've had some ideas on how to begin writing a response paper. In short, when you get stuck, you can focus on a topic that you want to discuss, focus on an issue that you want to debate and make sure you get it right. Always remember that your goal is to get your views heard and not to be remembered for the wrong re asons.
